Network Ingress Connectors

Network Ingress connectors allow SurePath AI to receive and authenticate traffic from an organization's users

Understanding Network Ingress Controllers

SurePath AI needs to know who is connecting to us and what method they are using. This helps keep the service safe, and enables additional features. SurePath AI has three different connectors. Please use the one that aligns with how you are doing Network Ingress in your environment.

All available ingress types can be found here: Traffic Integration / Intercept

Creating the connector

  • Login to the SurePath Admin interface

  • Navigate to and click Connectors -> ADD CONNECTOR

  • Add a descriptive name

  • Using the drop-down box, select the appropriate Type in the Network Ingress section

  • Click SAVE

Eliminate SSO login for Netskope and Zscaler customers

If desired, SurePath AI can take advantage of a common header used across multiple SASE vendors. The X-Authenticated-User (XAU) header, when enabled, contains the user ID (often user email). This header is included in all traffic generated by a user to SurePath AI and allows SurePath AI to automatically authenticate all incoming traffic without prompting for authentication. To enable this setting, follow the steps below:

  • Browse the the previously created Network Ingress connector

  • Click EDIT

  • Turn on Enable X-Authenticated-User Header if required

  • Click SAVE CHANGES
